Well, given below are some instructions that will help you to retrieve Outlook email messages that are sent in Outlook 2007.
Instructions
- Start the Microsoft Outlook 2007 application by double clicking the shortcut icon for Outlook 2007 or by accessing Outlook 2007 from the Windows Start menu. When the Outlook is opened, you need to click the folder named Sent to open it. Next, find the email that you want to stop from being sent and click it.
- On the Outlook ribbon, you will see a group called Actions. When clicking it, it will present a drop down menu and from the drop down menu, you need to click the option called Other Actions.
- Next, you need to select the option called Recall This Message and clicking this will make available the Recall This Message dialog box. From this dialog box, you need to choose the option labeled Delete Unread Copies of this Message.
- Make sure to check mark the box that is labeled Tell Me if Recall Succeeds or Fails for Each Recipient.
- If you want to send another email message in place of the one that is withdrawn, you need to select the option called Delete Unread Copies and Replace with a New Message.
